On St Francis Day 2015, we had a Blessing of the pets, which we had not done for a very long time. It was a wonderful occasion with little intolerance between the dogs! One canine (our dear little Campton Family dog, – usually known as “ultra quiet” Lily) took exception to the dog occupying her territory and had to be momentarily banished, But that aside, they were a pack of well behaved animals.
A visit from a very talented mime artist to entertain the children after church was arranged by Br Noel. The children interacted with the mime artist and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance in the hall following morning tea. A must to be repeated – perhaps next year.
