Thursday 21 February – The Long Table 2019 meets at 6 for 6.30 p.m. DeLanna Thai, 220 Addison Road (south side between Essex and Neville St) Marrickville. There is on street parking along Addison Rd and in sides streets. Also the 428 bus runs along Addison Rd to and from Newtown/Enmore and the other way from Dulwich Hill. Sunday 3 March – is now our tentative date for our AGM (subject to our audit). If this date is correct. all reports need to be received, collated and printed into a booklet by Sunday 24 February, week prior, ready for the parishioners. Please submit reports by Thursday 21 February by email to the parish office.

Wednesday 6 March – Ash Wednesday – ABM launch their Lenten Appeal at St Luke’s after church; we are serving morning tea to our visitors.

Saturday 9 March – Lenten Quiet Day by OGS at St John’s Balmain – The Desert Fathers and Mothers – please see the noticeboard for details.

Saturday 16 March – Cinema Paradiso at 4.00 for 4.30 p.m.in our Hall – our first movie night this year. First film, a documentary, is yet to be chosen but bound to be of general interest. Bring something to share at intermission – wine, cheese, biscuits or nuts etc. See the email from Brett or speak to him this morning. Email your RSVP to stlukescinema@gmail.com.

Our Bookshop needs someone to look after it – We NEED a volunteer! It is not difficult so please see Ruth if you feel that’s something you could do.

Mondays– our Playgroup continues at 10.00 a.m. for parents and carers. Please spread the word to all you know who care for young children.
