Confirmation.  Fr Jeff would still like to hear from anyone who would like to prepare for Confirmation with the Bishop – r on Sunday 25 August.  This may be the last opportunity this year.

Our PlayGroup for carers of young children is continuing in the back of the church and under the covered archway next week while AEC is pre-polling in the hall.

Saturday 18 May is the next Men’s Night Out at 6 for 6.30 p.m. at Petersham RSL Club. Please let Kevin Green know if you are coming on 0405 691 055.

Saturday 25 May at 4 pm for 4.30 pm– is our next Cinema Paradiso in the church hall.  Amazing Grace – the story of William Wilberforces’s tireless campaign to abolish the British slave trade; wine and cheese at interval. Please invite a friend to come with you and join in the afternoon! It may be of interest to the wider community.

Saturday 1st June at 2.00 p.m. in the church hall – A Poetry Event – The Creative Word – Recitation of poetry by those who register with the Convenor Noel Jeffs.  Flyers are available in the hall; a donation for afternoon tea would be appreciated.

Fundraiser Stall is going to be held in conjunction with the Opshop on Tuesday & Wednesday 14 & 15 May with jam, preserves, pickles, plants and some cakes.  Please bring any produce or baking to the Opshop by 10 a.m. on either day.

Jam Making – Lea MacNeil ( is making jam for sale in the OpShop, however this needs to be ordered via email and she will let you know when your jam is to be paid and collected from the Opshop

THE USE OF ST LUKE’S HALL FOR PRE-POLL VOTING   All Parishioners need to be aware that our hall and kitchen will be used exclusively by the Electoral Commission for Pre-Poll Voting between  Monday 6 and Sunday 19 May 2019.  During this time, we will need to accommodate all our hall activities in the back of the church or under the covered walkway.  Those on hospitality need to bring only food that does not require refrigeration or heating.  Please purchase your milk on the way and store it in a cool place in the back vestry on the floor.
