You will meet Pro­fess­or War­wick Brit­ton, AO, (Cen­ten­ary Insti­tute Research Dir­ect­or, Uni­ver­sity of Sydney and world-renowned expert on lep­rosy and tuber­cu­los­is) who will share the excit­ing vis­on as well as the chal­lenges of The Lep­rosy Mission’s bold glob­al strategy to end the trans­mis­sion of new cases of lep­rosy by 2035.  So future gen­er­a­tions may be born into a world free from the oppres­sion of lep­rosy! And free from dis­ab­il­ity, dis­crim­in­a­tion and social exclu­sion it causes. 

You will also meet John Oa (from Pap­ua New Guinea), who will share about the chal­lenges they face in com­munit­ies across PNG, where new lep­rosy cases are on the rise.
