TODAY after Morning tea — Chanting the psalms session 2
St Luke’s in almost unique in Sydney in that you as the congregation chants the psalms. It would be a pity if we lost that tradition.
If you would like to learn to chant the psalms traditionally or have a refresher, Rajah with some assistance from Kathy and Katherine is willing to give some pointers today after morning tea. So, if you’ve ever wondered what · |- † * — : , l and ll, double chant and single chant mean please come and join us.
No singing or other music experience necessary.

Saturday 6th September from 1pm — Ecumenical BBQ
All members of St Luke’s Enmore along with St Christophorus congregation are invited to an ecumenical barbecue to celebrate the beginning of spring, at Ron Clarke’s house, 5 Barnes Avenue, Earlwood, starting at 1 pm until whenever, i.e., come whenever you like and stay as long as you like.
The intention is simply to provide an opportunity for German Roman Catholics of St Christophorus and St Luke’s High Church Anglicans to get to know one another in a relaxed environment and to discover how much they actually have in common.
Food and drink will be provided, but if you could bring either a small salad or dessert to share, that would be appreciated.

NOTE: The 7th September Taizé service is postponed due to the Rector being away on leave. In addition, due to failing attendance in the winter weather the Rector and Peter Seymour have decided that the service will not resume until the weather improves and the service structure will be reviewed at this time.

Tuesday 16th September at 11am — ABM Sydney Auxiliary Committee invite St Luke’s parishioners to a Reconciliation Luncheon. In support of ABM’s Reconciliation Work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Leaders.
Held at Christ Church St Laurence Hall, 505 Pitt Street, Sydney.
Guest Speaker, Larissa Minniecon, currently works with the ABM – Australia on Gadigal Land.
Money raised will support the Reverend Gloria Shipp, Anglican priest, in the ‘Walkabout Ministry’ she founded, providing an accessible, culturally sensitive church for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in the Cobar, Dubbo, Nyngan and Warren areas of NSW.
