Today after morning tea — Chanting the psalms session
St Luke’s is almost unique in Sydney in that you as the congregation chants the psalms. I think you will agree that the last two months has been an interesting experience. It would be a pity if we lost that tradition.
If you would like to learn to chant the psalms traditionally or have a refresher, Rajah with some assistance from Kathy and Katherine is willing to give some pointers today after morning tea. So, if you’ve ever wondered what · |- † * — : , l and ll, double chant and single chant mean please come and join us. No singing or other music experience necessary.
