TONIGHT at 6.30pm — Oxford Move­ment Even­song:

The Par­ish of Christ Church St Laurence (812 George St, Hay­mar­ket) extends an invit­a­tion to a Fest­iv­al Even­song, Pro­ces­sion, and Bene­dic­tion on Sunday 13 July at 6.30pm.  This ser­vice will com­mem­or­ate Oxford Move­ment Sunday, giv­ing thanks for the litur­gic­al tra­di­tion with­in Anglic­an­ism.  The ser­vice will be fol­lowed by light refresh­ments.  No RSVP required.  All wel­come.

Wanted: Anoth­er team for hos­pit­al­ity on Sundays.  Bought food is totally accept­able (although home bak­ing is nice). Set up and clean-up is all that is required (instruc­tions provided). The more teams we have, the less often we’re needed.  Please see Ruth Cham­pi­on if you can help.

Sat­urday 16th August at 2:30 pm — the Par­ish will be hold­ing a “Win­ter­fest” high tea and con­cert, in the par­ish hall. 

This is a major fun­draiser for the par­ish, and we would value your attend­ance and assist­ance if pos­sible.  Unlike last year the ser­vice of food will be sim­pli­fied to a main buf­fet table where you will help your­self to hot food, then scones and cakes!  We will how­ever serve the mulled wine and tea and cof­fee to your tables.  The con­cert pro­gram is yet to be arranged but we are sure it will be very enter­tain­ing!  Cost is $40 pp and $35 Concession/Student
