Our Christmas Market — Saturday 13 December
If you are a person who neither makes nor bakes anything for the Christmas Market, you may like to consider making a donation towards the cost of ingredients.
The cost of making Christmas cakes is significantly higher than ordinary cakes. A large cake can cost around $25–28 and add $14 if it is iced with marzipan and fondant. The cost of chicken we all know about — we probably buy some weekly. Rachael will be cooking butter chicken to sell and will take pre-orders closer to the date.
So, if you can donate anything at all, our cooks will be very grateful — and it will be shared accordingly. Please place in an envelope in the offertory, referenced “cooking costs Christmas cakes” or “cooking cost chicken“.
Thank you one and all!

During his stay at St Luke’s Fr Jeff has been converting vegetable peelings and scraps to methane-free worm castings with the help of his worm farms. There are three of these and he would like to take only one with him to his new home.
If you are able to take and care for one of these worm farms, please speak to Fr Jeff.
