This year, the Council will celebrate the end of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity on Sunday 21 May 2023 with a service of Worship at St. Paul’s Anglican Church (205–207 Burwood Rd, Burwood NSW 2134) at 5.00 pm, next to the hall, where the Annual Dinner will be held immediately after the service, at 6.30 pm.
The guest speaker will be His Eminence Bishop Angaelos, Coptic Orthodox Church, Diocese of London, on the topic “How Churches are working for peace in our world and the new challenges for ecumenism in the context of our troubled times.” Bishop Donald Kirk of Riverina Anglican Diocese will be the respondent to his talk.
