From the Wardens…

A big thank you to everyone again for your attendance and wonderful support of the Winterfest High Tea last week.  As nearly everything was either homemade or donated, the grand total is now $3,142. This was made up by ticket sales of $2,686 (and a special thanks to those who donated over and above the price of the ticket or donated in lieu of the ability to attend), raffles ($256) and a separate $200 donation; we certainly appreciate your generosity.  We are indebted to Susan Deas and Jo Burton for the entertainment; to all who gave of their time to help and bake, especially Kathy Drummond and Michael Fleming,

and to those who gave prizes!  Thank you once again!

Our next major fundraiser, of course, will be our Christmas Market on Saturday 6 December, 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Please mark it in your diary as we appreciate as much help as we can muster!
