Thank you to Brad Chap­man from ABM for com­ing to speak to us today.

We will be hold­ing a Saus­age Sizzle fun­draiser for ABM after the 9.30am ser­vice today.  A dona­tion of between $5-$10 – cash or Eft­pos for ABM would be appre­ci­ated, if you can afford it.  We thank Rick Prat­ley — our BBQ chef and oth­er volun­teers for their help today.

We will not be going to the War­ren View pub on this occa­sion.

A very big thank you to Fr Glenn Maytum who has been our Act­ing Rect­or for the past 12 weeks.  We thank him for his ded­ic­a­tion, his friend­ship and guid­ance.  The War­dens are espe­cially grate­ful and appre­ci­at­ive of his help with oper­a­tion­al mat­ters.  We send our best wishes to the con­greg­a­tion at Broken Hill where he will be locuming in August and we hope we’ll see Fr Glenn back again at a later date.

Fr Mark Wormell will be join­ing us from Wed­nes­day 1st July and serving as Act­ing Rect­or until Septem­ber 2026.

Sunday 28th June is the last day to buy your Tick­ets for $40 pp or $30 con­ces­sion.  Single tick­ets or a table of 4, 6 or 8 may be booked, how­ever, it would be appre­ci­ated if pay­ment was received at the time of the book­ing, we will accept cash or EFTPOS.

Start­ing at 2.30pm — There will be music, mulled wine served on arrival, hot fin­ger food, scones, jam & cream and a vari­ety of sweet del­ic­acies.

Teapots and Cof­fee will be served to the tables; some glu­ten free food will be avail­able and there will be raffles and door prizes.

We hope you will come and enjoy this fest­ive after­noon!

Sunday 18th Octo­ber – St Luke’s Patron­al Fest­iv­al

On Sunday 18 Octo­ber we will be cel­eb­rat­ing our St Luke’s Patron­al Fest­iv­al with a spe­cial guest preach­er and former rect­or, The Very Rev’d Steph­en Wil­li­ams, Dean Emer­it­us of Christ­ch­urch Cathed­ral New­castle and known to a few long-stand­ing parish­ion­ers.

Steph­en and his wife Sue will join us for lunch after the ser­vice — this will either be a shared lunch or a pub lunch — yet to be con­firmed.
