NOTICES:

 

A very big thank you to the Chiew Fam­ily and all those who helped with the BBQ and cleanup after the AGM.

 

Wed 27th March at 11am — Annu­al Chrism Euchar­ist will be held at St James’ King Street. Bish­op Michael Stead will Preside and preach.  All clergy and lay min­is­ters are invited to robe (cas­sock, surplice/cotta and white stole, or alb and white stole) and to renew their vows.  The holy oils will be blessed.  A light lunch will be provided in St James’ Hall fol­low­ing the ser­vice.  RSVP to the Par­ish Office (office@sjks.org.au or 8227 1300) for cater­ing pur­poses.  Every­one is most welcome.

 

Thurs 28th March – 7.30pm Maun­dy Thursday.

 

Fri 29th March – 9.30am Good Fri­day ser­vice fol­lowed by morn­ing tea; and then 12pm Sta­tions of the Cross.

 

Sat 30th March from 9.30am – Work­ing Bee and Flower arran­ging. Volun­teers required to help.  Many hands make light work!  Please see Ruth Cham­pi­on if you are able to spare an hour or so.

 

Next Sun 31st March – 9.30am East­er Day ser­vice:    Join us for coffee/tea and a shared lunch after the ser­vice.  (Please bring a dish to share – either a main or a dessert)

 

Dona­tions towards flowers for East­er Day would be appre­ci­ated:  Please place the dona­tion in the offer­tory plate in an envel­oped marked ‘East­er flowers’, or Dir­ect Deb­it into the par­ish account (details on back of ser­vice book­let) ref­er­ence ‘East­er Flowers’.  Thank you.

 

Tues 2nd April at 7.30 pm — Tues­day Bible Study recom­mences:  at Fr Philip’s home, 5 Lin­coln St Stan­more. All wel­come.  The study for this term will be The Acts of the Apostles.  Please bring a bible.

 

 

ABM mis­sion meet­ing has been post­poned until after the AGM.  New date is yet to be con­firmed.  It would be help­ful to have read the Pro­ject book pri­or to the meet­ing.  If you would like a copy, please see Jennifer.

Food for our worms – Leave your worm food gifts at church on Sundays or drop off dur­ing the week.  Please remem­ber to remove the strings from your teabags.  (N.B. — no dairy, cit­rus, onions or meat).
