Notices_Sunday 10th March 2024_Fourth Sunday In Lent

NOTICES

 

TODAY — Palm Cross mak­ing –after morn­ing tea.    Please come and join us in the hall to make our palm crosses for Palm Sunday.  No exper­i­ence needed as instruc­tion will be giv­en. 

 

NEXT Sunday 17th March – Par­ish AGM: Held in the church after 9.30am ser­vice and morn­ing tea.

“Notice of Pro­posed Nom­in­a­tion” forms for elec­tion into office at the AGM are now avail­able in the church foy­er and at the Com­munity Resource Centre.

Please ask someone before you nom­in­ate them and don’t for­get to ask someone to second your nomination.

 

New Big Roster for March to June 2024 now avail­able in the church foy­er and on the Com­munity resource table.

 

2024 Len­ten Stud­ies – Monday group will be at 7.30pm on Zoom.  Con­tact Fr Jeff for the zoom link; and Wed­nes­day group will be held in the hall after the 10.30am ser­vice and morn­ing tea. 

 

ABM mis­sion meet­ing has been post­poned until after the AGM.  New date is yet to be con­firmed.  It would be help­ful to have read the Pro­ject book pri­or to the meet­ing.  If you would like a copy, please see Jennifer.

Sat 30th March – Work­ing Bee and Flower arran­ging, from 9.30am.

Sun 31st March – 9.30am East­er Day ser­vice fol­lowed by a Shared Lunch.

 

 Tues 2nd April at 7.30 pm — Tues­day Bible Study recom­mences: at Fr Philip’s home, 5 Lin­coln St Stan­more. All wel­come.  The study for this term will be The Acts of the Apostles. Please bring a bible.

ST PAUL’S PANTRY needs food, health and clean­ing items: A bas­ket is in the church foy­er for donations.

 

Lea MacNeil has jam, con­serves, pickles and vari­ous sauces to sell; please email her at lea.macneil@gmail.com to order them from her.  All pro­ceeds go to St Luke’s Parish.

 

Food for our worms – Leave your worm food gifts at church on Sundays or drop off dur­ing the week.  Please remem­ber to remove the strings from your teabags.(N.B. — no dairy, cit­rus, onions or meat).
