Our Parish Retreat at Old Stroud Monastery last weekend… Our Retreat, led by Fr Philip, was a resounding success – gorgeous weather, in a beautiful natural environment, in a charming old rustic monastery. Over 12 became 11, and then 2 Franciscan Brother, Bruce Paul and Afred joined us for a Chinese Banquet generously provided by Kevin Chiew on Saturday night. Our Retreat was based on the Parables of Jesus, and we learned a lot from our readings, and from each other. Thank you to all who participated.
