Wed 5th April (Wednesday in Holy Week) — 2023 Chrism Eucharist:
Held at Christ Church St Laurence, George St, Sydney, at 11.00am. Bishop Michael Stead will be the celebrant. A general invitation is extended to clergy, parish readers and parishioners to attend the service. All clergy and parish readers are invited to robe and renew their vows during the liturgy.
A light lunch will be served following the service.

Thurs 8th June 2023 — Parish Vivid 2023 Lights Sightseeing Cruise
Brett seeks expressions of interest. As in 2019, the cruise will be operated by Captain Cook Cruises. Departure is expected to be from King Street Wharf 1 at 5.45pm. The cost is $29 per adult. Please see the link for more information and contact Brett by Sunday, 16 April 2023.
Vivid Lights Sightseeing Cruises 2023
The parish weekend retreat at Stroud (21st-23rd April) is now fully booked. Unfortunately the Franciscan Bros are unable to accommodate any additional attendees.
The parish has recently heard that a former parishioner Hiro Andrew Itadani died in Japan in July, 2021. While at St Luke’s, he was an organist and contributed generously to the life of the parish. After leaving St Lukes Hiro moved to Cairns and then later to Kurashiki, Japan where he worked in a dementia facility. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
Thursday 7th May — Myanmar Lunch Fundraiser for ABM: Catered lunch with drinks and wine. Your RSVP at a later date would be appreciated. Keep the date!
Sunday, 25 June 2023 at 3pm — St Luke’s Young Organists Series: Samuel Giddy, winner of the Open Section of the 2022 Sydney Organ Competition. Further details to follow. Keep the date!
