St Luke's Anglican Church in Enmore a lively, inclusive welcoming liturgical community

Notices_Sunday 28th April — 5th Sunday of Easter — ANZAC Day Remembrance

NOTICES:

The Wardens and Parish Council are seeking a Voluntary Hall Hire Administrator.  This needs to be someone fairly local with a vehicle.  This voluntary position includes personally showing potential hall hirers the facilities, supplying a contract with the relevant details (template available), placing the booking into the church/hall events calendar, checking with the treasurer that the booking fee and key deposit have been paid (prior to the event), personal provision of a hall key or the key safe code prior to the event and personally checking the hall etc after each event to allow the deposit to be returned (only if the premises left clean and tidy) and making sure the key has been returned.  It would also require the following up of regular hall hirers to ensure payment is made and premise is left clean after each event.

Stuart Grigg and Stuart Veitch our previous hall hire administrators have been doing it for many years and we thank them sincerely for their commitment and contribution to the parish.  Our hall hirers’ donations bring in quite a bit of revenue for the parish and we are grateful!

If you would like further information or to volunteer for this position, please speak to one of the wardens or to Stuart Veitch.

The Parish Council is looking for volunteers to form a Christmas Market Committee to oversee the planning and operation of the Market this year.  If this is something you would like to be involved with, please see the Wardens or Andy Serafin.  Once we have a sufficient number we will convene a meeting.
