Christ­mas Cards for 2023:   Due to lessen­ing demand by Parish­ion­ers for Christ­mas cards we have decided not to pur­chase any more Christ­mas cards for sale at the Com­munity Resource Centre.  We encour­age parish­ion­ers to vis­it The Lep­rosy Mis­sion, ABM, or The Bush Church Aid Soci­ety web­sites to order their own cards.  We have a small num­ber of packs of Christ­mas cards from 2022 for sale in the Com­munity Resource Centre.  Please see Steph­en Gates after church.

 

St Luke’s Com­munity Art­work:  At our recent Patron­al Fest­iv­al Jo Middleton dis­played the begin­nings of an art­work of vari­ous pieces of mater­i­al sym­bol­ising parts of our com­munity life.  Jo is look­ing for those who wish to join in this artistry with their own con­tri­bu­tions.  If this is you, con­tact Jo on 0484 291 646.

23–25 Feb­ru­ary 2024 — Par­ish Retreat: Booked at the Old Mon­as­tery Stroud (Fri­day even­ing to Sunday after­noon).  We will start tak­ing names for reser­va­tions in early Decem­ber 2023.  The bed­rooms are nearly all single rooms with shared bath­rooms, and we will be self-catering.

 

 

Food for our worms – Leave your worm food gifts at church on Sundays or drop off dur­ing the week.  Please remem­ber to remove the strings from your teabags.  (N.B. — no dairy, cit­rus, onions or meat).

 

 

ST PAUL’S PANTRY needs food, health and clean­ing items: A bas­ket is in the church foy­er for donations.

 

 

Notices for the Sunday Ser­vice book­let need to be received by Jen­nifer in the par­ish office by 10am on Thursday morn­ing.  It is best to email the details.
