Today: 11.30am Myan­mar Lunch Fun­draiser for ABM — Morn­ing tea will fol­low the ser­vice as usu­al, and the event starts in the hall at 11.30 a.m. The light lunch fol­lows an intro­duct­ory talk.  There will be a chance to ask ques­tions from the floor at the end.  This is our mis­sion fun­drais­ing event so please give as gen­er­ously as you can afford.  All dona­tions are tax deductible!

 

 

Tonight: 5pm Spir­it of Taize Ser­vice in the Chapel.

 

 

Thursday 18th May – 6pm Feast of the Ascen­sion at CCSL:  You are invited to join Fr Jeff and your fel­low St Luke’s Parish­ion­ers at Christ Church St Laurence as we cel­eb­rate the Feast of the Ascen­sion togeth­er.  The ser­vice will be a Sol­emn High Mass with a pro­ces­sion and the preach­er will be Fr Ryan Aus­tin-Eames.  The ser­vice will also be live streamed via Youtube.

The St Luke’s Young Organ­ists Series is an occa­sion­al series of recit­als by loc­al young and emer­ging organ schol­ars and organists.

Sunday 17th Sept — 40th Anniversary of Sydney MOW:  Join us at CCSL for 10.30am ser­vice with female guest preach­er.  Fol­lowed by lunch with female guest speak­ers.  RSVP date to be announced.  Keep the date!

Food for our worms – Leave your worm food gifts at church on Sundays or drop off dur­ing the week.  Please remove the strings from teabags.  (NB — no dairy, cit­rus, onions or meat please).  Worm cast­ings are among the best soil con­di­tion­ers for your garden and are avail­able on request.  See Fr Jeff.
