NOTICES:

TODAY – Parish Council will meet after morning tea.

SPECIAL THANKSto all those who contributed to last week’s Patronal Festival and Confirmation service.  What a joyful celebration it was.  Heartfelt thanks to the Chiew family for their generous provision of the sumptuous festive meal and Fabian for his musical accompaniment.  I’m sure the Bishop saw in St Luke’s a strong and committed parish.

Sat 5 Nov 2022 — St’Anmoré Music Festival Walk - starting at 12pm

Place:  meet at the Church car park to walk to Stanmore

Weather:  come prepared, as the walk will proceed “rain, hail or shine.”

On Saturday, 5 November 2022, Stanmore’s streets will come alive with the sound of music.  The St’Anmoré Music Festival was created in honour of the late Richard Gill AO, the renowned Australian musician, conductor, and educator who lived in Stanmore, a few minutes away from the Church.  He had a vision to hold an annual event to bring music to the streets.  Richard Gill died in 2018 and the Festival was first held in 2019.  It returns this year after a pandemic silence.

Brett is organising a walk to explore the Festival this year.  Please contact Brett by 30 October 2022 if you would like to join the walk.

Further information about the Festival programme, stages, locations, music styles and performers, is available at the attached link: https://stanmoremusicfestival.com/
