LENT 2024

I’ve long heard of the Archbishop of Canterbury’s yearly Lent Book.  This year it is entitled “Tarry Awhile”.  The subtitle is ‘Wisdom from Black Spirituality for People of Faith.’

There is an amount of reading involved and there is a cost.  From Amazon the book costs a little more than $30 or in the Kindle format it is $18.99, again from Amazon.   The delivery from these sources is very fast so you would have the book for Lent which begins on 15 Feb.

I intend to use this study on Monday evenings via Zoom or members are welcome to come to the Rectory on those evenings if that is preferable for you.

If the cost of the booklet above is an issue for you, please let me know.  I’m sure there is help available.

I have ordered some alternative material for the Wednesday morning study.

Looking forward to Lent 2024.

Fr Jeff
