A very big thank you to Brett for organ­ising our excur­sion to the Vivid Laser Light show last night.  Fif­teen people thor­oughly enjoyed the even­ing, the com­pany and din­ner after­wards.

A gen­er­al invit­a­tion is exten­ded to every­one who would like to come to the pub for lunch at the War­ren View (2 Stan­more Road, Enmore) after the ser­vice and morn­ing tea of a Sunday.  We look for­ward to see­ing you there.

Sunday 21st June – Par­ish Coun­cil meet­ing will be held in the par­ish office after the 9.30am ser­vice and morn­ing tea.

Tick­ets will be on sale from next Sunday 14th June, for $40 pp or $30 con­ces­sion, clos­ing on Sunday 28 June.

We have held this event the past two years and it is very pop­u­lar.

Single tick­ets or a table of 4, 6 or 8 may be booked, how­ever, it would be appre­ci­ated if pay­ment was received at the time of the book­ing, we will accept cash or EFTPOS.

Start­ing at 2.30pm — There will be music, mulled wine served on arrival, hot fin­ger food, scones, jam & cream and a vari­ety of sweet del­ic­acies.

Teapots and Cof­fee will be served to the tables; some glu­ten free food will be avail­able and there will be raffles and door prizes.

We hope you will come and enjoy this fest­ive after­noon!

Join us for an even­ing inspired by the warmth, col­our and fest­ive spir­it, with music, fel­low­ship and a silent auc­tion in sup­port of St Luke’s.

Sunday 18th Octo­ber – St Luke’s Patron­al Fest­iv­al

On Sunday 18 Octo­ber we will be cel­eb­rat­ing our St Luke’s Patron­al Fest­iv­al with a spe­cial guest preach­er and former rect­or, The Very Rev’d Steph­en Wil­li­ams, Dean Emer­it­us of Christ­ch­urch Cathed­ral New­castle and known to a few long-stand­ing parish­ion­ers.

Some of us recently caught up with Steph­en when he preached at St James’ King Street for the 50th anniversary of St Laurence House.

He and his wife Sue will join us for lunch after the ser­vice — this will either be a shared lunch or a pub lunch — yet to be con­firmed.
