Please give generously.

Stanmore Nursing Home Gifts:  As is our usual custom we take a small gift to each patient at the Stanmore Nursing Home (OPAL) in Cambridge St at Christmas time. Your donation no matter how small helps the parish to pay for a selection of equal value gifts — usually chocolates, or something suitable for those patients who are diabetic.  Ruth and Jennifer usually do the gift shopping.  Before Covid-19’s restrictions we would sing carols while we walked around and gave out our gifts, however we are probably not going to be able to that again this year, but we will check again with the staff closer to the time.  If you would like to donate please place in an envelope so marked in the offertory plate, or donate online reference “Nursing Home”.   Many thanks for your generosity!

Lea MacNeil has jam, conserves, pickles and various sauces to sell; please email her at lea.macneil@gmail.com to order them from her.

All proceeds go to St Luke’s Parish.
