Dr Mike Bird (Rid­ley Col­lege, Aus­trali­an Uni­ver­sity of Theo­logy) – ‘Caesar­iz­ing the Mes­si­ah and Mes­si­an­iz­ing Caesar: A Cri­tique of Chris­ti­an Nation­al­ism’ Chris­ti­an Nation­al­ism in the United States is influ­en­cing con­greg­a­tions in Aus­tralia.

A range of oth­er speak­ers will also explore this top­ic, start­ing an ongo­ing con­ver­sa­tion among Aus­trali­an Chris­ti­an lead­ers.

The War­dens sin­cerely thank Fr Mark for chair­ing our AGM last Sunday and thank you to those who were will­ing to stand for office.

• The Par­ish Coun­cil­lors elec­ted were: Andy Ser­afin, Peter Sey­mour, Steph­en Gates, Susan Deas, Kathy Drum­mond and Brett Dav­ies.  Fr Mark has appoin­ted Jen­nifer B. and Selina Hardy as his rep­res­ent­at­ives on Par­ish Coun­cil

• Melinda Seed was nom­in­ated and appoin­ted as our Aud­it­or.
• Par­ish Nom­in­at­ors con­tin­ued in office and there­fore no elec­tion was required.

Cop­ies of the AGM reports are still avail­able in the hall foy­er, so please take one if you were unable to be present last Sunday.
