Thank you to Fr Philip for tak­ing our Wed­nes­day and Sunday ser­vices while Fr Jeff and Michelle were away.

 

The flowers in the church today have been donated by Jo Middleton in lov­ing memory of her broth­er, Peter Middleton.  Some flowers are also a gift from Anne Stel­mar on the occa­sion of the Bap­tism of her grandchildren.

 

Sunday 21st Janu­ary – Plan­ning meet­ing for Par­ish Retreat:   Fol­low­ing morn­ing tea there will be a plan­ning meet­ing in pre­par­a­tion for the par­ish retreat at the end of Feb­ru­ary.  If you would like to attend the retreat and help in plan­ning it, please stay after morn­ing tea and we will meet in the church for about 40 minutes.

 

OpShop 30-year cel­eb­ra­tion pens are avail­able in the foy­er for $2 each.

 

Palm Crosses Needed: Please remem­ber to bring in your palm crosses from last year.  We will burn these to make the ash on Shrove Tues­day for our Ash Wed­nes­day services.

 

Sunday 18th Feb­ru­ary — Par­ish Coun­cil will meet after 9.30am ser­vice and morn­ing tea.

You are invited to meet online with ABM and AID Exec­ut­ive Dir­ect­or, the Rev’d Dr John Deane, as we launch the 2024 Pro­ject Book. Togeth­er we will find out what God is doing and share with you how you and your par­ish can join with us in God’s mission.

We will also show­case the vari­ous resources we have avail­able to help your par­ish par­ti­cip­ate more fully in God’s mis­sion, nation­ally and glob­ally, through ABM.

Booked at the Old Mon­as­tery Stroud (Fri­day even­ing to Sunday after­noon).

 We are now tak­ing names for reser­va­tions.

The bed­rooms are nearly all single rooms with shared bath­rooms, and we will be self-catering.

Food for our worms – Leave your worm food gifts at church on Sundays or drop off dur­ing the week.  Please remem­ber to remove the strings from your teabags.  (N.B. — no dairy, cit­rus, onions or meat).
