The flowers in the church today have been donate by Ruth Cham­pi­on in lov­ing memory of her fath­er, Eric Cham­pi­on (Priest).

 

 

Con­grat­u­la­tions to Geoff Lind­say who was awar­ded an AM this week for ser­vices to the law, and the leg­al pro­fes­sion.  We are very proud that Geoff has been duly recognised.

Trin­ity Salute paint­ing at St Luke’s Enmore

An event is being planned dur­ing the next few months to cel­eb­rate the Trin­ity Salute paint­ing in the Church.

 

What is the paint­ing about? 

Please find attached links to Fr Jeff’s You­Tube present­a­tion about the paint­ing, notes on the scrip­tur­al and artist­ic con­text of the work, inform­a­tion about the Guwiy­ang Trust which has loaned the work to the Par­ish (“Guwiy­ang” means “Fire” in the Eora lan­guage), and media reports about Peter Nor­man and the event at the 1968 Mex­ico City Olympic Games depic­ted in the painting.
