St James’ Day Fest­al Euchar­ist — Monday 25th July at 6.30pm:

The Rect­or, Rev’d Andrew Sem­pell and the Church War­dens of St James’ Church King Street, Sydney invite the clergy and people of St Luke’s Enmore to attend St James’ Day Fest­al Euchar­ist & Pas­tor­al Leave-tak­ing of the Rect­or. 

The Ser­vice will be fol­lowed by a Span­ish themed din­ner held in the covered courtyard.

Anglic­ans Togeth­er Din­ner: Thursday 17th Nov 

Anglic­ans Togeth­er are hav­ing a din­ner on Thursday, 17th Novem­ber with two guest speak­ers rep­res­ent­ing dif­fer­ing tra­di­tions in the Anglic­an Church.  The top­ic is: ‘The Anglic­an Church of Aus­tralia: Can we stay togeth­er?’  One of the speak­ers is Peter Sher­lock, a well-respec­ted Anglic­an theo­lo­gian and his­tor­i­an.  We need to get a rough idea of num­bers so we can book an appro­pri­ately sized ven­ue.  If you are inter­ested please let Tony Brown­low know after the service.

Wordsworth & Maskell Pipe Organ Recit­al — 3pm on Sunday, 18 Septem­ber 2022 — keep and share the date

Well-known to Sydney audi­ences, St Luke’s is delighted to wel­come Heath­er Moen-Boyd to per­form, at last, a recit­al to mark the final stage in the res­tor­a­tion of the Church’s unique 1883 Wordsworth & Maskell Pipe Organ.

From Moz­art to Mendels­sohn, whose works were per­formed at the instrument’s 1884 recit­al, the per­form­ance will include but­ter­flies and cuckoos for the Spring Equi­nox and the Great Gate of Kyiv.

Entry:  $10 ($5 all con­ces­sions), includ­ing pro­gramme note.
